India is the world’s 2nd largest producer of food next to China and has the potential of being the biggest in food & agriculture sector. There is an opportunity for large investments in Food and Food Processing technologies. India is the 2nd largest Vegetable and 3rd largest Fruit producer in the world. India will register the highest increase in Rice production in the world over the next 10 years.
Indian soils witnessing deficiencies in Micro-nutrients such as Sulphur, Zinc, Boron, Iron, and Manganese due to soil acidity. Besides these, Bio-pesticides (based on pathogenic micro-organisms), which are specific to a target pest, are the effective solutions to pest problems now a days. There is an increasing demand in India for these products.
So we are coming-up to unfold these opportunities through strategic venture & alliances. Our effort is to make back ended linkage with Rural Community, Government or Private Agencies, Co-operatives / S H Gs in Odisha & as well as India, to empower farming and securing their efforts & investments.
